Peony
Peonies are named after the Greek god of medicine and healing 'Paeon' and have also been the state flower of Indiana since 1957.
The Peony is one of the most popular flowers around, but unfortunately has quite a short season of April - July. The best quality varieties are grown under glass in Holland. When Peonies are out of season we suggest GARDEN ROSES.
You will notice that some of the Peonies available at the moment are Israeli Grown.. Dutch Grown Peonies start in April until the end of July at which time prices are cheaper because they are auctioned in larger quantities.
